Connecting Your Account

Outboxer works with any email provider that supports SMTP. This includes Gmail, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, and most business email services.

SMTP Settings

For Gmail/Google Workspace:

  • Server: smtp.gmail.com
  • Port: 587 (TLS) or 465 (SSL)
  • Authentication: Your email and app password

Important: We recommend using an app-specific password for enhanced security.

Understanding Sending Limits

Most email providers have daily sending limits:

  • Personal Gmail: ~500 emails/day
  • Google Workspace: ~2,000 emails/day
  • Microsoft 365: ~10,000 emails/day

Outboxer's batch sending feature helps you stay within these limits while maximizing deliverability.

Deliverability Tips

  1. Warm up your account - Start with smaller batches
  2. Use batch sending - Space out your emails
  3. Monitor bounce rates - Clean your list regularly
  4. Personalize content - Avoid looking like spam
The Local-Only Advantage

With Outboxer, all your data stays on your machine. No cloud uploads, no third-party servers — complete data control and GDPR compliance by design.
